Complexity Economics – OECD

What

Selected applicants will have the chance to attend an interactive workshop on Complexity Economics. The workshop will be delivered by OECD, in line with the masterclasses offered by the NAEC (New Approaches to Economic Challenges) Innovation Lab. More info about the content of the workshop will follow soon.

Who 

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international organisation that works to build better policies for better lives. Its goal is to shape policies that foster prosperity, equality, opportunity and well-being for all.
Within OECD, the New Approaches to Economic Challenges (NAEC) initiative develops a systemic perspective on interconnected challenges, identifying the analytical and policy tools to understand them and crafting the narratives best able to convey them to policymakers.

OECD has established a NAEC Innovation LAB, co-ordinated by the NAEC Unit and the Office of the Chief Economist, to promote experimentation within the OECD on agent-based modelling (ABM), machine learning, big data applications, and network analysis.
